2 Confirmed Dead As Easycoach Bus Carrying Chavakali Students Involved in Accident.
A somber mood engulfed the nation as news broke of a tragic accident involving an Easy Coach Ltd bus carrying 34 students from Chavakali High School. The bus was en route to Nairobi for the April holidays when the unfortunate incident occurred at Mamboleo roundabout in Kisumu.
The accident claimed the lives of two students, whose names have not yet been released. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time. Three other students are currently receiving specialized medical care at Avenue Hospital Kisumu, while the remaining 30 students are being held at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (Russia). Thankfully, they are all in stable condition and are receiving counseling and close monitoring.
