    General Francis Ogolla will remain to be one of the best ever CDF of armed forces. His death will forever be remembered because he was the first ever CDF to die while in power, something that has never happened before.

    His Son during the memories service at Ulinzi Sports Centre, appreciated the army and security department for following whatever his dad wanted to be done when he dies. Ogolla had already prepared his family for his death and even left a will behind.

    He was to be buried in less than72 hours after his death and the government really tried to meet the timeline, the General will be buried on 21st April 2024.

    He wanted his burial to be cheap and not to be buried in expensive coffins. Ogolla wanted to be burried in wrapped sheets, just the way Muslims do. So they just decided to acquire a cheaper coffin that are just woods that haven’t been painted.

    The son said the coffin was worth ksh.6,800 only, unlike other famous peoples burials where you find the coffin worth more than ksh.500,000. He said that they won’t complicate things and his dad will be burried the way he wanted it to happen.
