How GenZs Have Mobilised Themselves And Ready For Mother Of All Maandamanos Today.
Today, Kenya is set to witness a second round of demonstrations organized by the young people known as Gen Z. This follows President William Ruto’s order for the police to arrest one of their key leaders, Morara Kebaso.
The youth wasted no time, immediately launching a live stream on TikTok and X Spaces, which attracted hundreds of thousands of Gen Z participants. Their main agenda is to demand the government release Morara Kebaso. They have planned a massive demonstration today, and all preparations are in place.
They have already raised funds for transportation, water, and medical care for anyone who may be injured. A group of Gen Z activists has camped outside the DCI headquarters, urging police officers to release Morara Kebaso.
Tension is palpable in the city, as the young people prepare to occupy various locations and are determined to demonstrate until their leader is freed.
