There has been an ongoing romour online that has been targeting a major media house, which is the Standard Media Group, the father to KTN, KTN News, Radio Maisha and other media houses under the group.

The romours were about the staffs of KTN having contracted Syphilis, which is a sexually transmitted infection. It went viral on social media pages, to an extent that people came up with a magazine highlighting the same , to make people believe.
However Radio Maisha presenter Shugaboy, decided to let the cat out of the bag and revealed the truth about the ongoing allegations. Speaking in an interview with Johnny, he said that those were fake news.

He said that they haven’t been served a memo like that, and those were just romours, and the company has even made it clear that there is nothing like that. He said that fake news spread fast, but they have addressed it, the media house is safe and there is no outbreak of such illness.
