Her wish was to be in a peaceful and successful marriage just like other marriages and she thought her husband was such a nice guy. Sheila 33-year-old from Mombasa, Kibarani area shared her heartbreaking story on how her husband who she thought was a loving and caring man turned to be an animal.
She had only be in marriage for a year and but she said that was enough as her experience on living with her husband had already made her lose hope if she would ever have been into a success marriage.
“He started subjecting me to harsh life. He cheated on me all through and each time I tried to confront him, subjecting me to a serious beating and as his way of solving problems in our marriage. I was so much scared of such a life,” she said.
Surviving in that marriage was almost impossible as she said. She had always been having thoughts of leaving but as she said, still she had thoughts that her husband would transform to be a good and loving man.
