    For many years, Daniel, a young man from Kisii, Kenya, lived a life that felt like a constant battle. From the time he was a child, poverty surrounded him like a heavy cloud. His mother worked as a casual labourer, doing any job she could find, but the money was never enough to feed the family. As he grew older, Daniel kept telling himself that his adult life would be different. He worked harder than all his age mates, taking part-time jobs, doing small businesses, and saving every coin he got. But still, nothing seemed to change.

    No matter how committed he was, poverty kept dragging him back. Every business he started collapsed unexpectedly. Every job he got ended abruptly. Money slipped through his hands as if someone had cursed him. His friends began getting married, buying cars, and building houses, but for him, life was stuck in the same painful cycle. He often sat alone at night wondering if he had been born with misfortune tied to his name. He kept asking himself why nothing ever worked out for him.
