From a Small Kibandaski to Owning a Multimillion Grocery Distribution Business
My name is Peter, and my journey began with a tiny kibandaski near a dusty road in Machakos.
Every morning before sunrise, I would wake up to prepare tea, mandazi, and chapati for boda boda riders and workers passing by. The business was small, but it was the only way I could survive.
Life was extremely difficult.
Sometimes I could barely make enough money to buy more flour for the next day. Watching other businesses grow while mine struggled made me feel like something in my life was blocking my progress.
One day a regular customer noticed how frustrated I looked and asked about my problems. After listening carefully, he advised me to visit a doctor who helped people overcome strange misfortunes affecting their businesses.
Curious and desperate, I went.
After explaining my struggles, I was guided on steps meant to remove the negative forces holding my progress back.
Within months, things began to change.
More customers started visiting my kibandaski. Soon I was able to expand and open a small grocery stall beside it. The profits increased faster than I had imagined.
Years later that small stall grew into a large grocery distribution business supplying shops across Machakos and Kitui counties.
Today I own delivery trucks and employ more than twenty workers.
Whenever I pass by the place where my small kibandaski once stood, I remember the long journey from those humble beginnings.
It reminds me that even the smallest start can grow into something extraordinary.
