Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu has just decided to run the country as her own personal property. She recently released the list of her first batch of ministers and senior cabinet officials. The list is full of her family members and close relatives. Her two daughters are among those given senior offices in her government.

Samia Suluhu went on to include her niece, nephew and even her in- laws in the cabinet. They have been given some senior government positions and since vetting doesn’t happen in Tanzania, once your name is mentioned by the president, you assume your duty in the office immediately.

Sources have also revealed that Samia Suluhu, is also planning to include more family members in her cabinet. It has been alleged that she wants loyal people to her and she believes that her family will never betray her, that is why she is giving them powerful positions.
