The father to the late teacher Albert Ojwang, who was tortured and murdered at Central police station, now wants DIG Lagat to be arrested and charged in the court of law. Meshack Ojwang has claimed that it’s clear DIG Lagat was connected to the torture and death of his son. He was the one who ordered him to get arrested and transported all the way from Mawego police station to Central police station, where he was tortured to death.

Meshack Ojwang has now submitted affidavit and his main request is for Lagat to be charged. He really wants justice for his son, which seems to be delayed. It has been over 4 months and the court is yet to jail those who had been arrested in connection to the murder of Ojwang, they are still in remand.
