6 months ago, a family in Keroka, Kisii buried a body, thinking that it was of their daughter, whom it had been said that she had died in a road accident. However after KCSE, the lady who was in form four has returned home. They were shocked and thought it was a ghost, but it emerged that they buried a wrong person.

The family has now been forced to exhume the body, and some cultural traditions will be performed in order to cleanse the daughter, whom they had assumed that she is dead.

The remains of the dead body they had buried will be taken back to the mortuary for identification, and if the person isn’t identified them after a while the mortuary my dispose the body via the mass burial process that usually happens after sometimes.
