Natembeya Escapes Death Narrowly & His Car Vandalized By Goons During Campaigns In Bungoma

Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya escaped death narrowly after being attacked by goons and also gunshots from police officers, while campaigning in Chwele , Kabuchai ward.

Natembeya was campaigning for DAP K MCA aspirant Eric Wekesa, and gunshots started firing in the air, before unknown people decided to attack his convoy.

It has been alleged that the attack has been orchestrated by people allied to the government, who wants the UDA candidate to emerge victorious in the upcoming elections that will be held on 27th November 2025.

The government is using all means possible to win the elections, they have been using police officers to stop Eric Wekesa from campaigning. The government is in fear that they might loose the elections, that is why they are really trying to intimidate candidates who seem to have potential of emerging victorious.
