From handing over cash to handing over sweets, UDA is using all the methods available to convince the residents of Mbeere North to vote for their candidate, Leonard Muriuki. Governor Cecil Mbarire decided to carry along packets of sweets made Mbeere residents make a long queue so that they can be give one sweet each by the governor.

It is a very weird incident, and it has really caused mixed reactions online, the residents on the other hand were very jovial and happy. They were excited to receive sweets from the governor and it was just a light moment.

UDA really wants to defend the MP seat in Mbeere North, however they are facing a very tough opponent from DCP. The government is using all the resources available to support Leonard Kariuki.
