Rigathi Gachagua has decided to open up on how he played a very crucial response role in helping William Ruto to campaign successfully and win the 2022 elections.
Speaking during an event in Mt Kenya, Gachagua said that when he was appointed to be Ruto’s running mate, he decided to sell some of his properties in order to fund the campaigns. He did it willingly because he knew that victory was coming and he knew they will enjoy together.
Despite all that he also gave his wife 10% of the money he had gained after selling the properties, the money was for Dorcus to run her ministry.
Gachagua was a very crucial man in helping Ruto to emerge victorious in 2022, however things happened, they parted ways with Ruto and he was successful impeached by the national assembly and senate approved in 2024.
