Dr Oburu Odinga is officially the new party leader of ODM, Oburu Odinga was elected by ODM members during the delegates meeting in Mombasa. He went on to deliver a very good speech, assuring all members of ODM that they will never allow themselves to be swallowed by other parties.
Oburu Odinga said that as a party they are focusing on being more strong and they are very hopeful that in 2027, ODM will have a presidential candidate on the ballot. Oburu said that the goal is to make ODM more powerful just like his brother Raila Odinga had wished.
He ruled out the claims of ODM forming a coalition with UDA, Oburu said that the party is really working hard to maintain its status and they will not allow those people who are trying to sabotage the agenda of ODM, they are in broadbased government until 2027.
