Oburu Odinga: Sakaja Isn’t A Member Of ODM, We Will Give Babu Owino Fair Chance For Nairobi Governor.
Oburu Odinga has ruled out claims if ODM chasing Babu Owino from the party, he said he had a meeting with him, and assured him that the party needs him, so he must feel comfortable, he will be given a fair chance to vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial ticket via ODM.
Oburu said that ODM is a democratic party, hence if Babu Owino wins the party nominations, with other members of ODM who also want the gubernatorial seat, then ODM will fully support him.
When asked about Sakaja, Oburu said that Sakaja is a member of UDA, and for him he will only support the members of ODM, so the way things are, ODM will have a candidate for Nairobi gubernatorial seat, and most probably its Babu Owino, then he must be assured that the party will support him fully. He should just feel comfortable, no one is chasing him.
