It all started with a single tweet from Maverick Aoko in 2024, where she claimed that Uhuru Kenyatta had been admitted abroad and he was receiving cancer treatment. People didn’t believe Aoko until on October 31st, when Uhuru Kenyatta made it public that he is battling with Cancer.

Speaking during the funeral of his close friend in Nyeri, Uhuru Kenyatta decided to open up on his health condition. He said that the late was battling with Cancer and he had mor experience, hence he used to encourage him, even during the difficult times when he was receiving treatment.

Uhuru said that 2024 and the beginning of 2025 he has been struggling health wise but the late was encouraging him.
