Tanzania Electoral Commission, has officially declared Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan as the winner of the 2025 presidential election, with 98%. The commission has said that the elections were free and fair, hence Samia will be sworn in very soon, they have already started preparations for swearing her in for her second term in office.

Despite the demonstrations going on in the country, the commission said that Samia Suluhu has won the elections in a very fair way, and that those who didn’t vote, had no valid reasons why they didn’t vote. They have said that they are optimistic that the military officers who have been deployed in the streets, will contain the crowd and the swearing in process of Suluhu will happen in a very peaceful environment.

On the other hand, Tanzanian Genzs are still in the streets and they have vowed to overthrow the government of Samia Suluhu. They never participated in the voting process because, Suluhu had jailed all the opposition.
