Video Shows Mourners Going Home With Flowers Picked From Raila’s Grave Site

Immediately after the church and family were done with burying Raila Odinga, mourners invaded Kang’o Ka Jaramogi graveyard, and they went straight to the grave of the former prime minister. They claimed that they had to perform some rituals, hence they ended up destroying the flowers layed at the graveyard.

It was messy and in the viral videos online, some mourners were spotted going home with flowers that they had picked from Raila Odinga’s grave site.

The crowd took over the entire grave site, and it was difficult for the police officers to control them. They couldn’t use teargas, because of the respect they had to show on the final day of the former prime minister.
