Inside Shalkido’s Village Home: Where He Will Be Buried.

Famous gengetone musician Shalkido, will be laid to rest on 17th October 2025 at his village home in Murera,Kiambu County. Shalkido who died in a fatal accident along Thika road, spend most of his life with his grandmother, hence the reason why he will he buried at his grandmother’s land.

The burial preparations have already begun, and the family has already identified the burial site. The musician is at the Kenyatta University funeral home, the hospital bill of Ksh.147,000 is yet to be cleared.

The home is well organised, and he somehow came from a middle class family. His father was however struggling financially, and he still resides in a small mabati house. The mother abandoned him when he was only 2 days old.

Shalkido had never seen his mother, he has been referring to his grandmother as his mother, because she is the one who has been supporting him and giving him motherly love.
