Busia County Spent Ksh.4.9 Million To Consult Whether A Hospital Should Be Level 4 or 5.

The looting and misappropriation of funds that is happening in Busia County has really caused stir online. It has been revealed that the county government led by Governor Otuoma, spent Ksh.4.9 Million, to just consult whether a certain hospital in the county should be made level 5 or Level 4.

According to the report tabled before the senate public accounts committee, the governor decided to spent that money for consultation, despite the ministry of health making it clear that the hospital had been classified as level 5 hospital.

In addition to this, the county officials of Busia have also been exposed of doing business with the county, hence facilitating more corruption. Busia is allegedly among the top corrupt counties in Kenya and it is sad that the money allocated to help citizens, it’s being devoured by corrupt individuals, who are just greedy.
