Nairobi County Begins To Arrest Anyone Throwing Trash or Waste In CBD Walkways

It is now official that if you are caught throwing waste or litter, even spitting chewing bubble gums in Nairobi CBD, you will be arrested and taken to court, you will be forced to pay a huge fine or jailed for some months.

The Chief executive officer of Nairobi County, Geoffrey Mosiria, has made it public that the county has decided to come up with new laws that will help in making the town clean.

The county has employed youths who clean the town at night, however they want to make Kenyans be more responsible and be throwing their litters at the dustbins that have been installed nearly all corners of the town.

The county has increased the number of county officers who will be watching over people, hence if you are caught dumping trash along walkways and not in the dustbin, you will be arrested immediately.
