” Kenyans Will Benefit” Cherargei Explains Why He wants Presidential Term Limit Extended To 7 Years

Nandi senator, Cherargei is currently pushing for a bill in senate, the bill is for increasing the presidential term limit to 7 years. Sources have revealed that the bill is already at the 2nd reading stage.

Cherargei introduced his bill sometimes in January and the broadbased government told Kenyans that the bill is dead on arrival. They rejected the bill, but now there are claims that the bill is still on the floor of the senate house, and senators are debating it.

Cherargei said that the bill will greatly benefit Kenyans, he feels like 5 years is not enough for Ruto to complete all the projects he has launched. It will enable the president to deliver well all the promises he made to Kenyans. According to the senator, the bill will benefit Kenyans if it is passed and amended as the rule of law.
