” Salary Ilikuwa Kidogo” Miss Morgan Reveals Why Ksh.100K Monthly Salary At Citizen Tv Was little

Former Tahidi High actress, Miss Morgan or well known as Angel Waruinge, has finally decided to open up on the salary she used to earn as an actress. Per episode she used to be paid Ksh.25,000, meaning every month, Citizen Tv used to pay her Ksh.100,000, but according to her that was very little.

Speaking in an interview with Alex Mwakideu, Miss Morgan said that she started acting at Tahidi when she was 26 years. She bought a car on her first year, but from endorsement deals, not Tahidi high salary. Morgan said that the salary she used to earn was very little compared to amount of money Citizen Tv used to make from Tahidi High show weekly.

She said that in a week, Citizen TV used to make about Ksh.8 Million. Tahidi was a very big show in Kenya, and many people used to love them. According to Angel, being a celebrity back then was also expensive, hence the Ksh.100,000 monthly salary alone, couldn’t sustain her expensive lifestyle back then.

She used to use her brand to do some external gigs, which was against the company rules, but she had no option but to break the rules. She exited Tahidi High, around 2018, then COVID 19 came and that is shat changed everything. Her troubles, alcohol addiction and depression kicked in. She has been battling with them for a while, but she is optimistic everything will be fine soon.
