Over the weekend, a group of youths was mobilized and invited to the State House to attend an empowerment program organized by President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

The youths were promised various goodies, including motorbikes. However, it is now emerging that a significant number of them left the State House empty-handed. One Kenyan man who attended the event and took a photo on a motorbike he had been promised has revealed that he did not receive the bike.

In a now-viral video, the man said that after taking photos, the motorbikes were taken back and they were told they would receive them later. Four days on, he has yet to receive his motorbike. The young man is now blaming Jalang’o and Karen Nyamu, who were reportedly in charge of distributing the motorbikes to the promised recipients.
