Harambee Stars Players Receiving Constant Calls From Relatives After Becoming Millionaires Overnight.
After Kenya successful defeated DR Congo, it was clear that the Harambee Stars Players were officially millionaires. Ruto had promised to give them Ksh.1 Million each for every game they win. Immediately after the match, a good number of players started receiving constant calls and messages from relatives, some who even haven’t talked to them for a very long time.
The calls started streaming in after realising that they are now millionaires. Players shared some of the messages and missed calls to online media as some joke about them.
This shows that people will only celebrate you when you are winning. It will be a very busy month for Harambee Stars players, because they are on a blink of trying to win the CHAN trophy and also Ksh.600 Million reward from William Ruto and Ksh.400 Million reward from former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
