A Kenyan woman has caused a stir online after opening up about deception in the church, sharing her personal experience. In a viral video, the woman explained that one day she decided to visit her pastor, as he had been unusually silent for a while.

When she arrived at his home, they began talking. During their conversation, the pastor unexpectedly confessed his feelings for her, claiming that God had instructed him to marry her as his second wife. He said it was a vision and that their marriage had already been blessed by God.

The woman was shocked, noting that Christianity advocates for monogamy. After returning home, she prayed about it for three days and felt strongly that becoming a second wife was never in her plans. She saw no signs or “green flags” confirming such a calling.

In the end, she chose to cut ties with the pastor. Her experience highlighted a troubling reality that some pastors, particularly men, use their positions to deceive members of their congregations.
