Celebrated singer and CEO of EMB, Bahati has found himself in hot soup from Kenyans on Instagram. This is after he shared a video on his IG page, showing him giving a beggar who stopped him ksh.200.

The beggar was able to recognise Bahati while in his car, and he was very humble enough, urged Bahati to give him even Ksh.100 bob only. Bahati didn’t hesitate, he told his manager to send the young man Ksh.200 bob.

The man was very happy after confirming that he has received the money, he appreciated and he was cool with the amount Bahati gave him.

However after posting the video on Instagram, and telling netizens how he is a celebrity who is always ready to share with other people the little he has, Kenyans on IG felt like the bar was so low. They feel that an artist like Bahati should not be posting giving fans or beggars such small amounts of money.
