Kenya has been experiencing a series of demonstrations, and most of them have been happening in Nairobi CBD. Most of this demonstrations were infiltrated by goons hired by the government, and the main purpose of this goons was to harm protesters and destroy properties, including looting.

It has now emerged that the Dedan Kimathi statue wasn’t left out, goons went on to rob the gun that has been on the statue for several decades. The gun was a sign that Dedan Kimathi was a very respectable freedom fighter in the country. It is now missing and the statue is also at the risk of being stolen.

Kenyans online are now concerned, and they are asking the government to secure the statues and also listen to the young people, so that the demonstrations should come to an end. If the government fails to listen then they should expect more demonstrations, and goons will use this opportunity to loot and damage properties.
