Bridget Njoki, Grade 7 Pupil Died After Being Hit By Bullet Fired By Police While At Her Home.

In Kiriguni Kiambu, a grade 7 student, Bridget Njoki is no more. She died after being hit by a stray bullet fired by police, while she was inside her home.

This happened during the Sabasaba protest, where the police officers were literally using live bullets to disperse protesters who were peaceful and unarmed. Bridget was a class prefect and she was just seating at the sitting room, when the bullet hit her.

This is not the first time such deaths are occurring, police are used to doing this, the saddest part is that they are being backed up by the government, so no justice is served. The cabinet secretary for Interior Mr Murkomen recently gave police officers order to shoot and kill and promised to defend them in the court of law. We are currently living in a cruel state with bad leadership. RIP Bridget.
