The member of parliament for Homabay, Peter Kaluma, has proposed for the renaming of the most iconic highway in Kenya, Thika Superhighway to Raila Odinga Highway, in honour to the former prime minister for playing a very huge role in the road conception, planning and also execution.

According to Kaluma Raila was very key in the execution of the highway, he was very firm as properties were being destroyed to expand the highway. Kaluma feels that Raila is behind the successful construction of the highway. He says that all the credits should go to him and not Kibaki as many people say.

Peter Kaluma is among the ODM members of parliament who joined the government after a handshake between Raila and Ruto. He is always reckless with his words, and he is among the members of parliament who are facing alot of hate on social media.
