No Matatu Allowed To Enter Town: Kenyans Forced To Walk To Town Ahead Of Today’s Maandamano.

Kenyan police officers have decided to heighten their security in Nairobi County, and this time round they have decided to erect roadblocks on all major entrances to Nairobi CBD.

They have installed roadblocks at Thik road, near Guru Nanak, Ngong road near Kenyatta National hospital and at Yaya centre. Hence no Matatus are being allowed to enter Nairobi CBD.

This has forced alot of Kenyans to walk to town.

Here is the screenshot showing some of the roadblocks.

They have also sealed the parliament road with a ring wire, just incase the protesters attempt to break the barricade and try to enter the parliament. The demonstrations are supposed to happen today on 25th June, they are peaceful protests and the GenZs are planning to have an anniversary memorial service for the heroes who lost their lives in 2024 during the finance bill protests.
