A wise farmer from Kirinyaga County, Maria Ndooro has decided to reveal to Kenyans how he is making huge amount of money from farming Sukuma Wiki.

Ndooro said that he has been farming Sukuma Wiki for a while, and it has made him a very wealthy man. He now has about 7500 stems of Sukuma Wiki on his half acre land. He usually harvests 500 kilograms every week. Each Kg is Ksh.40, therefore 500*40 , that is Ksh.20000.

Every week he is sure of Ksh.20,000. The market is readily available. He said that the maintainance cost of Sukuma Wiki is not costly, you just need to control pests and diseases, and do your irrigation on time. It only takes him 45 days to start harvesting. Maria Ndooro has urged young people and people who have retired to focus on farming, especially Sukuma Wiki, it is very profitable.
