    Driver In Ruto’s Motorcade Who Killed A Man While Speeding, Released On A Ksh.150,000 Cash Bail.

    Police constable George Mwangi, driver in Ruto’s motorcade was arraigned at Milimani law courts, and he was charged with causing the death of a Briton, Edgar Charles Frederick Riches, through dangerous driving.

    The accident happened on March 13th 2025, at 12:30 pm, along Ngong road, somewhere around Adams arcade, in Nairobi County. Mwangi was driving a Toyota Prado with a government registration of GKB 790J/KCY 351 H. He was driving the vehicle dangerously, over speeding and that is how he caused the death of a 79 years old man, Edgar.

    Edgar died on the spot, and the case has been in court for 2 months, only for the judge to free mwangi on a cash bail of Ksh.150,000 only.
