Emily Kanini, A Kenya Woman Arrested In India While Trafficking Cocaine Worth Ksh.300 Million

A Kenyan woman identified as Emily Kanini Rhodha is at the blink of facing tough Indian laws, which includes being jailed for upto 40 years. This is after she was arrested with 1.7kilograms of Cocaine, worth Ksh.300 Million.

The 43 years old woman was arrested at Mumbai airport while trafficking the illegal drugs. Rhodha flew from Nairobi to Doha, before she was arrested in Mumbai.

She has been detained by the antinarcotics detectives in India waiting for arraignment in court. For such a case, Emily might be jailed for between 20 to 40 years. In India you can’t be bailed out , especially when it comes to cases related to trafficking illegal drugs, that are above 700 grams.
