It is indeed a very tough month for the Matatus that belong to Supermetro Sacco. It is like the downfall of the sacco is on the blink. It all started by the death of Gilbert Thuku Kimani, who died after being pushed by Supermetro conductor from a moving vehicle, due to lack of Ksh.30 bob.
Just a week after the death, another Supermetro Matatu was grilled in Nairobi CBD by Kenyans. They stopped the vehicle and forced the driver and all passengers to get out. This is after the Matatu hit a Bodaboda rider.
It seemed to be a tragic accident, the rider sustained some injury, and there was some minor damages caused on his motorbike. Kenyans in the viral video were heard shouting that, it is like the sacco has joined Illuminati.
“Kwani mliingia illuminati na hatujui” one of the Kenyans shouted.
