How Ruto Will Spend Ksh.10 Million Daily On Cooking 1 million Chapati’s For Nairobi pupils

Citizen Tv news anchor and journalist, Stephen Letoo, finally decided to unpack the 1 million Chapati’s daily promise made by William Ruto to Nairobi Kids.

The president promised to fund the cooking of 1 million Chapati’s for Nairobi kids daily, and it will be added on the menu, to supplement their lunch.

According to calculations done by Letoo, cooking 1 million Chapati’s daily, will require about 40,000 packets of wheat flour, that is 2 kgs packets, and each costs Ksh.164, it will also require about 20,000 litres of cooking oil, and a litre costs ksh.189 . Meaning on a daily basis the president will be spending ksh.10 Million, monthly will be Ksh.71 Million.

Hence every year, Ruto will be spending ksh.2.5 Billion for just cooking Chapati’s for Nairobi kids. Will this be possible, or he was just saying that to make the little angels happy. Ruto is known for having a sweet tongue. He lies alot, lets wait and see if this will be possible.
