Maandamano: Transport Paralysed At Roysambu As GenZ Occupy Jesus Is Winners Church

Young people well known as the GenZ had previously warned the Jesus is winners church, pastor Edward Mwai for accepting ksh.20 million from Ruto. They promised to occupy the church on Sunday 9th march, and they have done so.

Despite heavy police presence at the church and around the church, the young people decided to show up in large numbers, and they blocked all the roads at Roysambu and Mirema Drive that are near the church.

They also lit bonfires and paralysed transport in Roysambu, which is a connection hub of Thika road and Kamiti road.

The young people have vowed to hold demonstrations every Sunday until the pastor returns the money that William Ruto donated. They said that Ruto is donating huge amounts of money to churches and people are struggling to get medications in hospital, the economy of the nation is also on its knees, and this is very dangerous for the nation.
