RIP: Police Retrieve 2 Dead Bodies Of JKUAT Students From Titanic Dam In Mugutha, Juja Sub County

It is another sad week for Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology. This is after they lost two comrades, in the infamous Titanic Dam, that first trended online in 2023, after a couple drowned in and vanished.

According to the police report, the two were aged 21 and 22 years, they had gone to swim and have some fun in the dam, but suddenly they drowned. Their bodies were retrieved by Kiambu County divers on Sunday and moved to General Kago Funeral Home, waiting for post mortem.

The two young men are identified as Anesko and Abel. It is indeed a very painful death, and we do pray for their family, friends and the JKUAT fraternity for the loss, may almighty God comfort them during this difficult mourning period. I think it is time for the dam to be locked up, and people shouldn’t be allowed to swim there.
