“I Refunded Kabi Wa Jesus Car, Lost Ksh.60 M After Kairo Snitched On Me” Imports By Kairo Owner Says

The owner of Imports By Kairo, the company that had employed Khalif Kairo, who was also then among the co directors, because he had some shares, has finally decided to come out open and reveal to the public why the company closed down.

In an interview with Lyn Ngugi, Khalif Kairo had said that he was mistreated and fired from his company. However Clement who was the owner, and the one with highest shares of the company has decided to reveal the truth.

He said that the company collapsed after Khalif Kairo snitched on him and the entire company. Clement said that Kairo had a plan of opening his own company, so he started telling their clients that imports by Kairo was bankrupt and the company cannot be trusted anymore.

He asked them to demand for refunds from the company, and give him the money so that he can import for them cars at a better price. Clement was forced to refund the money after clients demanded, among the clients was Kabi Wa Jesus, he refunded his Ksh.1.9 Million that had sent to him to import a Discovery.

Clement said that time he lost Ksh.60 Million, and all was as a result of Khalif Kairo snitching on the company. Since Kairo was the face of the company, he used social media to defame the company, and no one trusted them again. He painted a bad image, and later left to start his own company Kai and Karo.

Clement said that after loosing the Ksh.60 Million, bouncing back was a problem, they had no option but to close the company in 2024. Khalif Kairo went back and rented the place where they used to operate and changed it to his company. That is how Imports by Kairo collapsed, and Khalif Kairo played a very huge role in the shutting down of the company.
