Raila Odinga Finally Reveals Why He Didn’t Win The AUC Seat Despite Being The Most Favourite

Before the election date, Raila Odinga was the most favourite candidate to win the AUC seat. Kenya even decided to facilitate the transport of several delegate including Mps to go and cheer him up. However the results didn’t favour Odinga, Djibouti candidate Mohamud Yussouf emerged victorious.

Raila Odinga said that he was at the verge of winning the top seat in Africa, but unfortunately he lost because of some unforeseen circumstances.

Raila has attributed his loss to unforeseen circumstances. He conceded the defeat and congratulated his competitor Mohamud Yussouf.

It is a very painful loss, because for over 3 months, Raila has been travelling different parts of Africa trying to convince different presidents to vote for him. This loss means that Raila will be back in local politics soon and he is still the leader of ODM.
