In 2020 Former AFC Leopards striker Ezekiel Otuoma, was appealing to well-wishers to help him get further medical attention after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Otuoma was diagnosed with the disease in November 2020, forcing him to halt his football career. He has been battling with the illness for four years, things kept on getting worser till his death on 21st December 2024.

Ezekiel Otuoma is a 31-year-old Football ex-player. Born on 1993-11-23, he played as Forward for Talanta FC, AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars.
The young man just died a month after his birthday. however his wife was celebrating her own birthday and already planning to throw a very lavish birthday party for herself. She was already collecting gifts on Tiktok but she was forced to end the live, and later confirmed that Otuoma is death. He died on 21st December 2024, while his birthday is on 23rd December.
