Football Kenya Federation (FKF), in collaboration with FIFA, is set to host a high-level workshop aimed at advancing professional management within FKF Premier League clubs. Part of FIFA’s Club Professionalization and Management Program, the workshop will be held in Nairobi from Monday, October 28, to Tuesday, October 29, 2024, marking an essential step in aligning Kenyan football clubs with international standards.

The workshop will bring together FKF Premier League club Chairmen and CEOs for sessions led by renowned experts from FIFA and N3xt Sports. Participants will gain insights on strategic planning, effective governance, and financial management—core areas identified as critical for club self-sustainability. Speakers include FIFA’s Marcos Picalló Aguilar, N3xt Sports’ Marcos Pelegrin, FIFA Consultant Pedro Correia, and Aser Ventures’ former Managing Partner, Javier Sobrino.

On the second day, governance practices and financial management will be highlighted, with Correia and Pelegrin leading these essential discussions. By the workshop’s conclusion, FKF President Nick Mwendwa will close the event, reinforcing the federation’s commitment to the growth and professionalization of Kenyan football.

FIFA’s Club Professionalization and Management Program aims to create globally competitive African clubs by building sustainable structures.
