Another Huge Blow To Raila Odinga After 27 Islam Countries Vows To Support Mahmoud for AUC Seat.
Previously Raila Odinga was guaranteed to qin the top seat in Africa, this is after his team alleged that they have managed to convince 34 countries to vote for Raila.
However now his win is not guaranteed, this is after a move that was made recently by the Islamic states, they together agreed that they will support one of their own, Mahmoud Yussuf from Djibouti. The Islamic states consists of 27 countries, and now the Djibouti candidate is sure of 27 votes, he only needs 7 votes to be a valid winner.
So far Raila has secured votes from East Africa, and other few countries, though he is not sure if he will win. It will be a close contest but according to the Statistics, Yussuf has higher chances of winning because of the support from all the Islamic states who want to lead Africa.
