Exposed: How Kenyan Police In Haiti Are Facing Difficult Times Due To Lack of Equipments.
An expose has been done on how Kenyan police in Haiti are really struggling and facing difficulty times in the streets. A documentary covered by one of the western media, exposed the reality on the ground, which is different from what Kenyan media and president usually report .
The senior Haitian counterpart revealed that Kenyan police mission is like a joke, they are just like tourists in Haiti, because they lack all the modern equipment to deal with the goons. He revealed that they just usually stroll across the streets while scared.
Some of the Kenyan police featured in the documentary also revealed that it is true that they lack modern and enough equipments, so they are always scared and very careful whenever they man the streets.
They revealed that one of the tactics used by the barbeque goons is throwing cans with petrol on their vehicles and then burning them. The tactics has been successful several times and a number of vehicles have been burned.
The police officers demanded for modern and enough equipments so that they can be able to carry out their mission successful, but for now they try hard not to enter into danger zones.
