The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua caused stir online, after he publicly decided to hit out at the cabinet secretary of mining and blue economy, Ali Hassan Joho.
Speaking during an event in Homabay county, Gachagua who always refers to himself as the truthful man, decided to let the cat out of the bag, and this time round it was about Joho’s behaviour when with president William Ruto. Gachagua said that they will have a difficult time in teaching the new cabinet secretaries especially from ODM on how to behave when in government.
He said that a good example is Joho, who publicly referred to himself as the deputy party leader of ODM, yet he is now working for Ruto. Gachagua told Joho he needs to stop that and he also must be removing his cap when with president. That is a sign of respect for your boss, hence he needs to stop having a cap on when talking to president.
