Mixed Reactions After Safaricom Workers Locked Out Their Security Guard During Demonstrations.

In another sad video that has gone viral online, a security guard of one of the Safaricom shops in Nairobi CBD, was spotted stressed and stranded outside the shop, after the workers he was guarding decided to lock themselves inside the shop and left him outside.

While the demonstrations were going on, the police officers were throwing teargas at anyone, hence the best thing a person could do, was to rush for their safety. Most of the security guards of other shops  locked them inside the shops they were guarding  however for Safaricom this was not the case.
For them they decided that their security guards should just remain outside, and see how he will save himself from teargasses. The young man was recorded stranded and trying to look where he can hide.
The video attracted reactions from many netizens, who called out the staff and workers of Safaricom for being inhumane , by locking their security guard outside during such a risky situation that can even lead to death.

Here are the screenshots of some of the comments from tiktok.
